uh.....pleasant thought......not.

O.K....O.K. guys...geez...

I truly am an optimist when it comes to Naxos...a careful optimist. The proof is in the working production.

The "key" to me in the past was a "standard" fire assay with the type of results that came out Jan.12. We didn't see the "standard" fire assay...we saw the "Johnson fire assay". I am not discounting it by ANY means....however....my confidence level would skyrocket with the quality numbers from standard testing.

Yes...I read the posts describing that the Johnson fire assay falls "within the realm of standard fire assay procedure" from any competent assayers p.o.v. This would be a legitimate statement if we knew more about the J.procedure. (understandably we cannot know more than we do)

In correlation....Big Uncle Bill Clinton is saying "there is not an affair going on" He is not saying, "There was never an affair going on" If he is attempting to bolster our faith in him by playing with tenses...he is mistaken. He is in fact insulting my intelligence with his play on words.

In some senses I feel that the assay work is no different than the above. Substitute Johnson and standard for past and present tenses.

PLEASE read my posts as from a "careful optimist" b/c that is what I am. Entirely pro-Naxos. I have seen to many people blasted for their "negativity" (sometimes rightly so). I am not being negative, I am rather looking for those to counter my p.o.v. so that I may view the situation from more than my own slant.

Besides, my girlfriend refuses to even mention or listen to anything having to do with the word "gold" anymore. At first I thought "great that is a load off my mind..no jewelry". But alas, she is keen on the platinum and diamonds....<sigh>

Regards to all,

Jason
