I think WDC is off a bit today because of the sale of a business unit. People are trying to digest what this means. DDN to Acquire Western Digital's Enterprise Storage Business 4:47 PM ET 9/19/19 \| Dow Jones By Kimberly Chin Closely held storage company DDN has agreed to acquire Western Digital Corp.'s (WDC) enterprise storage business. Western Digital's Intelliflash unit, which offers an array of hybrid and all-flash data storage systems, will help DDN expand its artificial intelligence and multi-cloud data management capabilities, DDN said Thursday. DDN has also extended its partnership with Western Digital, which will become a customer of DDN's Intelliflash once the transaction is complete. Western Digital will also continue to provide hard drives and memory storage devices to DDN. The companies said they would work together to ensure a smooth transition for customers and important stakeholders.
