I saw reports a few days ago that half of LA's homeless population couldn't afford homes; some are living in RVs. I've read elsewhere that half the homeless are mentally ill. So, if we come up with enuf affordable housing close to jobs, and we build enuf mental institutions, we won't have a problem. Poof. Just like that.
