To compare the post WW1 depression based mindset of the German people which brought Hitler into power to the current American situation / mindset is simply wrong. Germany at that time was economically devastated. Bread lines and mass unemployment. Hitler promised to fix it and he actually did in the early years of being in power. That was before he went crazy / grew a devastating ego. Trump, on the other hand, started up with an out of this world ego and from what I can tell, hasn’t bettered the life of the average American since becoming “King”.
