I can be quite polished. And the best way to find out if we agree on what constructive criticism is would be to begin right here and now.

I think Trump is self-destructing. His tariffs are the main cause behind the recession that most expect next year. By most I mean 66% of company CFOs and about 50% of Americans. The inverted yield curve is a good harbinger of recessions 12 to 18 months down the road.
Now liberal or not, no one wants a recession because lots of people get hurt. I think Trump got in over his head and underestimated the strength of the Chinese economy and the resolve of its people. And in case you are wondering, I don't support the Chinese. I agree that they pursue intellectutual property theft and are basically pseudo capitalists. However, I would've handled this very differently than Trump has. I would have brokered trade treaties with our European and Asian allies first and then put global pressure on the Chinese. Trump chose to go it alone and the result looks like recession in USA. I call that self-destructive behavior.
