>> MOST Republicans still can't even wrap their mind around evolution and don't believe in AGW / globa warming.
This is a false statement. More Republicans are attached to sheer creationism than Democrats; but polls on the topic are extremely biased, poorly done, and few and far between, so the precise numbers are difficult to come by (most of the work is done by Pew, which is not that well-executed).
More recently, molecular biology, genetics and genomics have brought into question bits and pieces of Darwin's work such that "Evolution" as it was defined doesn't quite hold water. There is starting to be a lot of doubt about how it works, exactly, and whether it is as reliable as previously thought.
Darwin's great work has not been called into question so much as the fact he was missing access to key technologies we have today -- genetics, genomics, and most importantly, microbiology.
You should be careful about your politically bigoted insults as they may reflect more on you than on others.
>> But we still have racists, sexists, homophobe's, criminals, ignorant and neurotic people. and IMO, most of those are in the Republican party.
I know you said "IMO", but is that based at all on evidence or did you just pull it out of your ass as usual?
In a PEW poll taken a few years ago it said 80% of scientists lean Democratic and 51% called themselves liberals.
Only 6% called themselves Republicans--why is that do you think?
Because they were indoctrinated by pathetic university systems which don't permit free speech and which promote leftism through tenure and other means. Fortunately, this reign is about to come to an end as university systems begin to collapse, which they will do in the coming years. |
