Only 6% called themselves Republicans--why is that do you think?

Because they were indoctrinated by pathetic university systems which don't permit free speech and which promote leftism through tenure and other means. Fortunately, this reign is about to come to an end as university systems begin to collapse, which they will do in the coming years.
May be, because scientists are smart, and smart people will never join Trump party (former GOP)
