The only guaranteed true information I know of is that there is no downside to planting trees and a trillion trees will offset more than a decade's CO2 emissions. It can be done for relatively little money.

I recommend instead of protesting people pay for trees to be planted. A trillion trees can be planted for as little as 400 billion dollars over a period of years, distributed among all peoples.

So, plant more trees.
