That is nothing but right wing hyperbole. The right wing is at war with scientists because scientists keep proving their ideas are bullshit e.g. creationism versus evolution, supply side economics, global warming and the importance of social programs like head state and help for the poor.

Not everyone on earth is a criminal and scientists like all other humans have the good the bad and the ugly

But will find a lot more dishonest people in the business community.

Do you not understand that, when you say scientists, you are talking about all the scientists in the world.

They compare and double check each other's knowledge and ideas constantly, so if any scientist on earth is found to be wrong, the world scientific community will sound the alarm.

We live in a global village these days. Scientists are scrutinized more than almost anyone, so you can usually depend on their findings.

The irony is that scientist's are more careful on their data than most because they don't want to be seen as nuts.

Unlike the right wing who don't seem to care-lol.

So ironically scientists are "under selling" the dangers of global warming as they don't want to be seen as alarmists. That is why global warming keeps turning out to be worse than predicted.

The problem is the scientists are doing anything fr a bribe.
Their funding depend on the alarm.

The higher the alarm the more funds are coming.
