Jason, you are truley among the Naxonians when your loved one is fed up with any talk of gold!!! Hey everyone, am I right about this one or what?
It is an important point to NOT fall into the ASE designed trap that only standard fire assays using standard preperation or no preperation at all should be considered "legitimate" testing. Remember that the "Johnson" method only PREPARES the ore AFTER it has been certified as COC and using equipment managed and inspected by the third party lab. Then, STANDARD LEAD FIRE ASSAY IS USED. I don't see where any hanky panky can happen in this environment.
This deposit is proving itself to be anything but "standard" knowing that virtually all serious gold production to date has been from hard rock sources. These type of deposits have been discounted for years as being a complete waste of time.
Naxos has PROVEN there is gold, and alot of it, at FL. Just how much must be proven, but as I have mentioned before, I understand that when it comes to assay and recovery, it is RARE that material that can be assayed cannot be recovered. It is much more likely that recovery can improve on the assay, as the recovery can use the optimum conditions and equipment as opposed to being hampered by "standard" methods.
The whole reason Naxos has had such a difficult time is the Non standard nature of the deposit and the non standard and extraordinary effort it has taken to prove what Naxos has been saying all along.
It is the uniqueness of the FL ore that makes this such an exciting opportunity. I venture to say that there would NOT be such interest in what happens with this property if it were just another gold vein in the California mountains.
Take this in slowely and think about what you have gotten in to. If you want Naxos to evolve like just another Anglo Gold deposit...run do not walk, run to the ramp and get back on the dock. If you want the ride of your life, welcome aboard, we need every rower we can get.
Regards,
Tom F.
