I don't know if you are referring to any of my previous comments here, but I still am of the opinion that LSI has been, and in all likelihood will continue to be, erratic with regard to earnings.
In some ways, it is the very nature of the business that causes the earnings to be erratic. Every 3 or 4 years, new fabs have to be built and that implies a huge cost outlay. When you come to think of it, this begins to look more like the automobile industry, in fact!
So LSI could well be called, say, "the Chrysler of the semiconductor industry" :-). Please don't think that I am trying to throw cold water on your face on what appears to be a joyous day, but that is the reality, like it or not.
