Chris, Biden is on video claiming he made precisely that demand. Of course, he conveniently didn't mention he was trying to turn the heat off Hunter. No, he didn't bring THAT up.

This looks to me like a circular firing squad, but in the end, Trump was within his rights given there was no quid pro quo, and Biden looks dirty because the China trip makes it look like a pattern.
