Well folks, I said here that sales would be up in the 50-90% percent range, 50% being the worst case, 90% best case. Others pointed out that 50% seemed quite feasable.

Amazon came through with growth a little over the middle of the predicted range.

Is this company overvalued? I think so! Will it go up tomorrow? I also think so! People betting against Amazon are hoping that the ride up will end, just as it did with Netscape. Then again, it never did finish with AOL and IOM, even though they did see some corrections.

Somebody posted figures here that Amazon is fully valued to 2004, and I agree. The only thing Amazon needs is an investor willing to wait six years (is Buffet in?) and all shorters would lose their pants on this one...
