Earlier today, it was reported that Trump called Pelosi this morning and offered to give her a win on gun reform - probably as a bribe to stave off impeachment.

According to Ari Melber tonight, Trump was even more desperate. He also asked Pelosi if there was a way they could work out a compromise on releasing the whistle blower complaint, as a way of heading off impeachment.
