Lot of material is available on the Internet, you have to sort through some of it; many books written, some fiction.

But the govt's actions are well documented as well as some horrible Americans helping themselves. Photocopies of orders, documents, it's all out there.

I became interested years ago, a special was on TV about the camps in Arkansas and the Japanese decent Americans that stayed here after being "released". The more I dug into it, the more disgusted I got. Whole families were shipped off just because grandma and grandpa immigrated, even though their children and grandchildren were US citizens.

Start with FDR executive order 9066.

Btw, did you know the Japanese Americans living in Hawaii were largely left alone?
