/ Let's just clear a few things up about Trump, Putin, and Russian interference. If Trump told Kislyak and Lavrov in March 2017 that he didn't care about Russia interfering in US elections then he's a traitor to the United States, plain and simple. But there's more.

/ This also means that the various times he's claimed to have asked Putin about interfering in our election that every one of those was another lie by Trump. He never asked Putin this question a single time. In fact, they probably laughed about it together.

/ And he absolutely did not put the question to Putin in Helsinki when he embarrassed the United States in front of the entire world.

/ His bullshit about "President Putin very strongly denies it" and "Let me say this, I don't know why it *would* be Russia" was all a big ruse between him and Putin and against the entirety of the USA.

/ Think on this for just a sec. What he ACTUALLY DID in Helsinki was LIE ON PUTIN'S BEHALF. Putin may not even have had to tell him to do it. Trump was telling him "I can lie right along with you, you can trust me to cover for you and I trust you to cover for me."

/ And the spectacle of his never-ending subservience and ass-kissing to Putin and Russia is explained because Trump is well-aware that Putin could give him up whenever he wants. But they're both more content to have Trump do his bidding for him to the rest of the world.

/ Like telling the other world leaders and every tv camera he could find that Russia ought to be let back in to the G-8.

/So even though we already knew there was something ultra-shady and probably illegal about Trump pulling his interpreter's notes and hiding them from EVERYONE, it's clear and obvious that he's been lying through his teeth about his interactions with Putin since Day 1.
