I must admit that comment offended me as well. Trite, but true, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Peter, I believe you are young, but if you're lucky, you'll find that when you truly know someone, you cease to evaluate outward appearances and come to judge them by the person they are - the content of their character. Unfortunately, the evidence of our president's character content has been piling up for years. He's been successful only because so much of what we know about our politicians is purely based upon carefully crafted image. Being a skillful liar is an aid in created a good image. Of course, one hopes that Abe's remark to that end is finally coming home to roost. "You can fool some of the people . . ."
