OT: I have no religious beliefs. I was asked to leave Sunday School at age 8 because I was upsetting the other kids by winning debates with the teacher about evolution vs. creationism.

The idea of faith never made any sense to me, hence I do not have faith in a scientist or particular groups of scientists. Rather, I trust the scientific method, whereby results are held up to confirmation by scientific peers. The scientific method has clearly established that the climate is changing due to the increased presence of GHGs in the atmosphere. If the scientific method eventually comes up with a different conclusion, I will set about changing my opinions in response.

You don't get to pick which parts of science to support; it is all or nothing.

If you reject the scientific method tells us about climate change, you are rejecting the scientific method altogether, and hence to avoid being a hypocrite you need to stop using anything else that exists courtesy of the scientific method -- all technology, medicine, more agronomy, etc.

It's your choice -- accept the existence of anthropogenic climate change or revert to the Stone Age
