Yes its not very efficient, but is still economical enough to work
with their values. My gasoline generator uses about 1- 1.5 gal per
hr of fuel to generate 5KW. Thats about .3 gal per kw = $.35 per kw
hr. A diesel should be more efficient than that, especially a large
stationary one. If you match their dore production they need about
800KWhr per day... divide by 20 and that is a 40KW plant running an average of 20 hrs per day. I'd say that $.25 per KW hr should be a
reasonable cost estimate. That still only equates to about $200
to produce $20,000 worth of mud. (1%)
