Boris Johnson's Brexit deal is fair and what anyone sensible would expect to see when a country leaves a larger confederation of nations.

Johnson has dropped the absurd demands that Britain still maintain the same rights within the EU as other EU nations, and their insistence that there be no "hard" actual border between the EU and the UK.

The only tiny little problem is Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage campaigned for Brexit in a big red double-decker bus with bold lies painted on the side, none of which were remotely true.

As a result, the Brexit that UK citizens voted for simply doesn't exist, as Boris Johnson has now revealed as he plays the role of England's least popular magician.

The terms of Johnson's new surrender-document keeps none of the promises he made and, not surprisingly, is extremely unlikely to gain the approval of either UK voters or Parliament.

The people and businesses of the UK have a number of special advantages within the EU community, and frankly they wanted even more. This is what Germans call "Extra Wurst". England wanted to be relieved of their obligations of being an EU nation while still remaining an EU member in all other respects.

The reality is, Boris Johnson promised that his conservative party's austerity cuts which made the NHS the worst-funded healthcare system in industrialized Europe could be reversed by eliminating the payments Britain makes to Europe - payments largely to pay for the healthcare of retired English people living in Europe. As with many Trump voters, they want the lie that was promised to them, not the reality on offer.

If Brexit proceeds, it's inevitable the UK will become far more socialist to keep the promises of Brexit.

One outcome could be England seeking re-admittance to the EU twenty years from now, except this time with none of the special privileges they currently enjoy.
