re AVT - one has to distinguish between cyclicality and structural issues. When your largest supplier states that he does not need you any more as a wholesale because they will get directly to the customer, than it is a very worrisome structural issues and there is concern that other suppliers will do the same eventually.

This is very different than a cyclical issue because semis are quite cyclical, especially with stocking and destructing cycles on top of demand changes.
