Come on Bill. Think about it. A Duke sequel is going to sell. Why wait? Don't you think that EDIOS knew what was the wise move when they released Tomb II on a dual platform? It doesn't make sense to me unless what you say is right, that they don't have the cash to put up for a PSX version. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. After all, look at the sales of Duke on console now and we are talking in terms of an old property by today's end of life standards in the industry. At one time I was pretty confident in GT's management but lately I am not so sure. Hey, have you noticed that there hasn't been a peep concerning last year's proclamation that GT would be considering more adult avenues thereby releasing an (almost) X rated version of a Duke level? I don't think that was such a smooth move considering this is the company that touts their children's market as being very strong. I suspect they rethought this. The delay of Unreal must be killing their projections for '98 and with no release date even close for DN 4ever along with no hope of Prey being released before the 4th qtr '98 what really does GT have going for them in the near term? It doesn't look so rosy to me. Without an Unreal release in Q2 where is the revenue going to come from? Their new games Bugrider and Balls of Steel are out on shelves with virtually no ad support at all. Quake II is mopping the floor for SPS right now. Throw in the Micropose deal and now a lawsuit and we have a mess on our hands. You know I have been openly optimistic on GT for some time but I am slowly losing that optimism.
