One thing Warren has right is she knows something about the banks and I agree with you that the banks really are banksters. They are basically legalized mafia machines that have seized control of capitalism and destroyed it. The Fed is at the center of that. Also, you are right, there is no turning back that clock and neither party would allow the Fed to be destroyed. It is why I believe that the next steps will lead to negative rates in this country, full monetary devaluation, and eventually loss of reserve status, hyper-inflation which the Fed will pretend is not happening, and a massive destruction of the standard of living in this country. All of that is inevitable. Warren won't be able to stop that either. Her policies will simply hasten the inevitable, because her policies are very expensive and the only way to pay for her policies will be to print more money....MMT.

It's not that I don't care about those people, it's that I believe in math. No policy and no law that doesn't take into account the mathematics of sustainability is truly caring for these people. It's just a way to make the promoters feel good about themselves in the short run. Real solutions have to be paid for out of current income, but no one wants to think about what that would really mean, like 70-80% income taxes. Would the American people really be willing to pay those kinds of taxes to have health care for all? I doubt it. We'd also need to pair back our military industrial complex. Good luck with that. Neither Democrats nor Republicans would be willing to do that either.

The bottom line is that the US is on a permanent decline trajectory now. Utopian policies will simply get us there faster. I harp on real solutions and policies, because even though I don't believe anyone has the stomach to do what we really need to do in this country, there has to be at least one person who speaks the truth.
