Elroy I think you skipped over some of the information in my post to you, which I'll get to in a moment.

In the last couple of days there has been plenty of discussion and opinions expressed about the pros & cons of Aware being bought out by a big player in the sector. You may want to go back and read up, the further back you go, the more it will benefit your knowledge of the company.

Now pay particular attention to this, it is pretty much word for word from Aware and was in my post to you:

"Aware develops and markets xDSL technology, chipsets, modules and development systems, including hardware and software interfaces, and ultra high-speed modems. Their products let users easily and cost-effectively integrate xDSL into their own product and service offerings. Aware also develops and markets image compression software products based on wavelet technology:"

That doesn't sound like Aware is targeting you or me as a customer. It sounds to me their target customer would be the OEMs, in other words those companies I listed in my post.

I hope this helps you in learning more about the company. I also suggest you study the relationship Aware has with ADI and their jointly developed chips.

Good luck,

Scrapps

PS I've even heard Aware has a patent on a design for an array of mirrors for use in a telescope.
