The Fed is not printing enough to cause hyperinflation. As for slow destruction of the living standard, that has been goin on for some time. The Fed committee is merely a parrot that repeats what the Fed funds futures tell it. Even if you eliminate it things will likely stay the same. They act occasionally, and I agree, such unconventional action back after 2008 was very inflationary in the long run. It has run its course. The monetary base quadrupled.
