<<<Mohan, it's nice how closely you follow the events in India>>>>
Thomas: Actually this is rather a new interest of mine,as I found out how little I know about the place where I come from. Worswick probably knows more about India than I do,I am sort of ashamed to say.I probably know more about the U.S than India, as we are talking about couple of centuries vs a few millennia, and besides we are also looking at a relatively homogenous society vs a compendium of various cultures, languages etc etc.
<<<<Are you into sociology/politics/history or into "ordinary business"? Doing business with Indian parties?>>>
I do have a facination with, and 'am a casual student of, all of the above, including business and economics. As for ordinary business,I started one and then sold it after a few years.I do not do any business in India. Most of my business dealings were with Scandinavians,Swedes in particular and S.E.Asians.
Speaking of your idea about being a reporter in Asia, I have this plan to travel on a motor bike in various states in India (or at least a few)and photograph the people and places and then possibly publish a book. I don't know I will be able to but I, sure, am going to try,in a couple of years. I have this bike already picked out for the purpose,a link to it is given below if you are into that sort of thing.
