There are climate cycles, and they act like a pendulum. The further they go out the stronger will be the force to return to the median, unless there is an underlying factor that changes the situation.

I am going for a walk though, my daily constitutional, next to the wonderful stone beach I live near. Just to give you an example of my own journey... the last house I bought near the sea,,,, was located at 400+ feet above mean sea level because I was concerned about sea level changes. I don't trust the authorities , as said, and like a little extra safety factor put in. I have sold that house since, and these days I will not be quite so fussy about what elevation I live at.
