What effect, if any, will today's DOJ aggreement have on NSCPs business? It's hard for me to picture a user who cares that they get just the Nav icon, rather than both the IE icon and the Nav icon.

The free source code thing is an interesting idea. It's sort of like NSCP is making itself the standards committee for Nav features. It might pay off. I can picture University developers trying to get a feature in to make a name for themselves in the industry.
