HI LC and B Swan,

I tore the last of my garden out today.

I'll cover my squash , Kohlrabi, cabbage, brussel sprouts and pumpkins.

Happy to say had a bountiful harvest again this year. My second year of soil enhancement with black cow composted manure and Peat Moss really have helped.

We're a bit burned out from 3 weeks of solid canning.

I'm always a little sad to tear out my plants - I talk to them and they produce. LOL

One new raised garden bed will get done before the big freeze. Going to commit more space to growing Garlic.

This year was my first crop and I can do better. Last year it was a last minute thing. I hear they can take a lot of manure?

Pump it up in the garden patch!

HOPING YOU ALL HERE HAVE A WONDROUSLY FUN WINTER !

i'M GOING TO LIVE IN A TREE FOR THE NEXT 45 DAYS - DEER SEASON IS UPON ME.

Best to all - I've enjoyed getting to know those on this new thread for me. Thanks for all your info and help!

Bob
