Well then you know they regrow by bulb expansion but also freely seed with those pretty little white flowers donating 3/4 seeds each :)) Explains them popping up LOL

Try out the golden oregano then also.. good to zone 4 I think... I always panted it along with the g-chives and northern lights Swiss chard in the flower garden.. Sage also... Pretty all and yummy :)) although the sage looks kinda ratty come spring.. temptation to cut back too hard must be avoided :)) Kinda like clematis.. may look dead.. but it's not often :))
