The British public will discover the value of being part of the EU when they're not a member nation.

When the larger country than the UK, Florida, leaves the US and becomes independent we'll discover if Florida actually becomes a major world power with a better economy than they had as part of the US.

You think Florida will be much better off free of the US after Flexit, I think they'll face the same problems the UK will eventually if they leave the EU.

If nothing else it's simply because of economies of scale.
