when any politician opens their mouth, they lie. I'm old enough to know that. Trump is no exception. However, the fact of the matter is that the Democrats have been telling some very big whoppers for 3 years now in an attempt to overturn the will of the people and enable a coup against Trump. That is the crossing of a line that has the potential to not only destroy our institutions, but also to start a civil war. We're already in a cultural civil war, between the Socialists/Communists and the more typical Americans who believe in Capitalism and our Republic. The divide is now so great that I believe we may be at the breaking point. Republicans and conservatives are mostly silent nowadays. But the liberals are being VERY loud and the louder they get, the more unreasonable they are getting. Many things they are proposing defy the laws of math, much less common sense. Their absolute hysteria and anti-Trump rage is a little childish and off-putting. That's why center-right moderates like me are so turned off from liberals and Democrats nowadays.
I've said it before, the only Democratic candidate you guys have that is worth their salt and seems to have some integrity is Tulsi Gabbard. The rest are Socialist, Communists, and outright lunatics. They are using the politics of envy and identity to divide and conquer, and to stoke rage and hatred. It's working among the left, but it has turned off the center so much that the center will vote for Trump to delay the coming of the seething Socialist horde for 4 more years.
Now, having said that, I'm not voting for Trump just because I can't stand today's liberal candidates. I'm voting for Trump because I agree with his policy positions on our borders, ending the Endless Wars, his fight against the Chinese Communist Dictatorship, his pushing back on NATO allies who have abused our goodwill for so long, and his imposing reciprocal tariffs on those countries that charge us tariffs and act in protectionist way. In short, he's a smart business man and he's fighting for our economy in very smart ways. I wish he was a little more respectful sometimes and that he spent more time explaining why he does things to an American populace that is so ill-informed, but I think in the nasty era of Socialist liberal envy and nihilism that we see today, really only someone with the balls to fight hard and tough like Trump does would have had a chance to win and to remain standing for so long. The Democrats threw everything they had at him and they flat out lied and manufactured garbage and fake news to enable a coup, but he beat them and he's still standing. He's still standing because he's Trump. A nicer guy who doesn't know how to throw punches would have lost long ago. So I give him respect and kudos for that and for doing exactly what we voted him into office to do. |
