Jim, I think your argument is logical, but did you know Monica's attorney has requested that the Paula Jones deposition of Monica be postponed so he can negotiate with Starr? Monica can take the plead the fifth in that deposition, but NOT with Starr, and he will definitely call her to testify, probably next week. And did you also know that Starr CAN offer her immunity from prosecution (she's in a pretty big jam for such a young woman), but then keep her in jail indefinitely if she refuses to testify? It looks like Starr offering her immunity from prosecution is her very best chance to get back to her life without too much long-term damage.

I don't think she can get out of this easily. I don't forsee her going on the talk show circuit anytime soon.

Do people ever have the right to blow the whistle on crimes which offend them, if they are real crimes, or are all people like Linda Tripp total rat finks?
