Remember one undeniable, eternal truth that has held for thousands of years since paper was substituted for gold.

Paper inevitably fails. Inevitably. Always.

Why?

Because the temptation to print more of it beyond the good faith and credit of the issuer is simply overwhelming.

Always starts with ‘just a little bit, once’ (like we used to seduce girls in our salad days) and snowballs from there, until disaster strikes.

Why is today any different?
