Taylor Made club heads are made (i.e. forged or cast) in Asia but they are assembled (with shafts and grips) right here in the USA in Carlsbad, California. I've toured the plant. Very impressive facility and quality control procedures (which, by the way, is a big part of what separates the top companies from the middle- and lower-tier).

As far as the shafts, that depends on the manufacturer -- usually USA or Asia. Same with the grips.
