Gee, Ron, it sounds like you're one of the AT&T employees fired! I do like AT&T in several areas: my friend has 25+ years there. She's in charge of many states in OPS, and helps the MCI/Sprint/etc. customers who can't get customer service. Why do they always call AT&T when their own carrier won't come through? Second, we travel overseas a lot and AT&T is the only consistent carrier that can get us through on a call or FAX. When we desperately need to contact our staff overseas, AT&T has the footprint to do it.

Yes, we are a contractor for AT&T. However, we don't gouge the customer. Otherwise, we wouldn't be here for over 40 years. They pay the same as what Nextel pays us, and gets the same quality.
