Sorry , If we were to see 2 years of crop loses it would make me a believer in a colder climate . If solar flare count stayed low that would be the start of a confirmation that sun spots are a proxy for a warming or cooling climate .
{Shrug} I won't deny that activity on the sun and a change of tilt of the earth's axis are influences on the climate of the earth.

However man has no control over these effects.

There is no denying at least from my observations of earth's temperature versus Carbon Dioxide since 1900 has been increasing probably due to the increase industrialization of the world....

The sun activity and tilt of the earth are beyond our control and man is limited to adapting to its effect.

Industrial pollution of greenhouse gases on the other hand CAN BE ADDRESSED by mankind. We did it solving the ozone problem by banning chlorofluorocarbons in the 1990's and solved that problem...the world came together after years of previous study which at first suffered previous denial like is happening today on Global warming.

Man has to take responsibility of how they damage the planet. Individually we can do little but if the planet agrees and does everything they can to reduce pollution we can at least stop being the cause of our demise. With the troubles in the world re trade and political/religious wars that is a herculean effort but one can only hope {sigh}
