The "Meat & Potatoes"..."Important developments and milestones during the quarter included public announcement and award of contracts to Westell by four of Westell's customers. Ameritech announced that it has selected Westell to supply next generation T1 NIUs with Network Performance Report Messaging (NPRM) and British Telecom and GTE-CLEC announced their selection of Westell to provide and deploy DSL systems. Bell Canada has selected Westell for the initial service deployment of FlexCap 2 RADSL systems. During this quarter three important strategic partnerships and alliances were formed with Fujitsu (FTEL), Lucent Technologies and Texas Instruments. In ddition, during the quarter Westell signed a contract with City Tel to provide the Canadian city of Prince Rupert with DSL systems and services and Westell's HDSL product received the industry's first BABT approval in the United Kingdom.
Westell also made a number of personnel changes in the quarter, including the appointment of John Seazholtz, Bell Atlantic Chief Technology Officer, to its board of directors. The company also appointed Marc Zionts -- Chief Executive Officer of Westell, Inc., J. Nelson -- President and Chief Operating Officer of Westell, Inc. and Marc Hafner -- Executive Vice President Strategy of Westell, Inc."
Can someone please explain why WSTL is at $12.5/shr. and not over $30/shr. With BA, GTE, BT, LU, AIT, TI, BC, MOT and so on and so on in a multi billion dollar market cap, IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!
