They all do it. Which is why it is so important to get money out of politics.

But the idea that Wharf was presenting that it doesn't matter is just plain naive.

The plutocrats and autocrats own this country by spending huge amounts on elections and buying politicians.

E.g. Citizens United.

And yes, the Republicans are ten times worse than the Democrats, but most do it. Both Biden and Buttigieg have raised tens of millions from fat cats which Buttigieg defended saying we cannot beat Trump with "pocket change".

But both Bernie and Warren refused to do that. In fact Warrens original money person resigned because Warren refused to take big money.

When I ran for the state legislature, I refused to take money from big oil and they came down on me hard and gave my GOP opponent infinite money.
