Again, it depends on who defines "education."

Texas considers creationism education. Or then there's Liberty University -- and many more with political/social agendas.

There is also a crisis in free speech today at many of our best universities.

And the issues of public vs. private schools, and home-schooling.

Modern re-education camps after wars, also have some dark history for what some "educated" people might call brainwashing.

I know plenty of highly educated Republicans and even some JD, Ph.D. and MD Trumpers. Graduated from the best US Universities.

In the inner city, even dedicated teachers burn out from the dysfunctional students in a tragic rebellious cycle (the privileged kids will survive.)

I'm all for "education" but its so much more than "free education through post graduate." lets start with feeding and safely housing the kids with access to dentists and Doctors -- so they can be in a position to learn and break the cycles.
