It doesn't matter what electric car I drive. Nissan Leaf or a Tesla.
WTF? It does indeed matter. The Tesla is expensive and not cost-effective. That cost isn't just some artificial number, either. It represents the amount of resources mined to build the car and the amount of energy and labor it took.

The Nissan Leaf makes more sense, but then again, that's a pretty small car. Great for single or dual-passenger commuting, but not likely to turn heads.
But best of all..Zero pollution!
Oh get off your high horse. Only 1/3 of California's electricity comes from renewable sources.

Electric cars are more efficient at using energy than those powered by internal combustion engines, but the pollution is nowhere near "zero." If you really want to emit zero pollution, ride a bike like I do.
