I'd have to side with you on this one. Children are innately kind to each other. People learn to be unkind.

If we forced republicans to sign contracts every time they promised to do something and part of that contract was they couldn't run again if they didn't do it, they'd all be out of office after one term. They're innately dishonest.

No WMDs, no repeal and replace, no balanced budgets, no wall paid by Mexico, etc.
