That's funny that Mr Singh who wears a turban is challenging Trudeau who dressed in full Indian regalia, and as a Negro, and no doubt an Eskimo. Trudeau also dresses in a suit and tie. He has many disguises.

I guess your racist idea that people will object to Singh because of his turban is wrong. They will prefer to have somebody whose clothing actually represents the ideas that they have rather than a disguise to camouflage themselves. Please, no more racism. Do you have a "friend" who dislikes his turban and Singhness?

A turban in Canada in winter would be a good idea for insulation. In summer it would be a bit sweaty. But it could be used to stop black fly and mosquito bites.

Actually, a turban is a pretty good idea - a helmet to protect the brain and head from being damaged. Now that my hair has thinned, bumping my head on things is very annoying. A good head of hair is some protection. A turban would be very good. Better than those hard hats required on construction sites. For a few decades I have considered designing and selling helmets designed like wigs for brain protection and as a fashion item. A turban is too inconvenient and in rain would get soggy.

My helmets could be dyed any colour without risking carcinogenic dyes getting into skin and blood. Slip on and off easily. All sorts of hair styles could be used. No stealing my idea!!
