Peeled off 10% of SFL today at $14.87/share. Yielding 9.5% and has been a steady payer. Was able to book a small gain and am building my cash reserves for a real estate project so am trimming many of my positions by 10%-20%.

I still own a lot of these shares in both taxable and tax deferred accounts and even w/ the wide price range, quarterly dividend have been good. Company is not covering their dividend payments of $1.40/share annual vs $098/share EPS.

Earnings estimates are for only $0.98/share in 2020 so there may be a dividend cut unless they have one time gains from sales of any of their ships.

Will look at this again after next dividend payment and may take a few more shares off the table at that time.

Good Investing

FWIW, sold some KMI, and NGLOY. Will be trimming most of my top 10 in the next few weeks; MRK, SRE, CVX and others. Bull run is long in the tooth and need to build up cash reserves for my 2022 real estate project. Looking to raise another 25%-30% cash over next 30 months.
