Did you ever hear a vet say dogs should never sleep with you in bed? He'll think you're equals and not his master.

It's the same with kids. The moment an adult screams, you're his equal. The moment an adult hits a child, you're his equal. Children scream and hit. Adults don't.

I've literally taken kids who are out of control and with a gentle hand movement gotten them to stop doing what they're doing. Act like an adult and they learn very quickly.

Btw, I taught my brother to count to 200 before he was four and read every road sign by five. I questioned him and suggested he was wrong and he told me why he was right. Kids can learn deductive and inductive reasoning long before they go to school, if they have a teacher.

If a four-year-old isn't speaking nearly perfect English, his parents are failing him.

And when a kid really gets out of control, go for a long walk, or biking or ice skating or.....
