Josh As you get older do you still feel a need to own a desktop? I like you have assembled hundreds of desktops going back to the early 80's but the machine I am using now was assembled back in 2008 and there is little I do with it anymore that would justify having a desktop. I used to like to customize my machines with parts which were of higher quality and permanence than you could generally buy in a store. But honestly since I am not a gamer I expect my next PC will be my last and will likely be a high performance laptop vs a desktop. These days I am more space conscience and portability it nice. It may be time to retire this desktop with something major fails. Don
