My post referred to Chandeleur players, past and mostly present as detailed in the text. CYJ director and major shareholder Richard J. Bowes resigned from the company's board in August 1989 after the U.S. Customs sting was terminated (see original post for further details). Whether or not Bowes still holds shares in Chandeleur or has any role in the company at present would be an interesting question to ask of CYJ management. (Bowes' criminal activity and offer to use Chandeleur as a heroin money-laundering vehicle sheds new light on the STOCK GURU!!!!'s comments that the CYJ gang had a 20 year unblemished history.) Rahn & Bodmer Banquiers, as noted in my original post, are present players in CYJ. Ex-stockbroker Len Fiessel and his partner Robert Shull are also current players in the CYJ game (as noted in my first post, Canada Stockwatch etc.) In May 1991 Chandeleur appointed as a director one Michael Scott Harris of Tujunja, California. (Harris had been a consultant to CYJ since at least September 1990.) He resigned from the company's board in November 1994. Could this be the same Michael Harris who is now recommended as the broker-in-the-know about CYJ and reachable @1-800-458-3812? Brokers in Canada are supposed to provide their clients with a balanced appraisal of a company/stock's prospects. It would be interesting to hear the balance that might be given by an ex-director. THE PENNY STOCK GURU!!!, who's shown that, not only can't he spell, but he can be a juvenile bully as well (witness his uncalled for and childish references to Tom Smith on this SI thread), claims he's been a broker for 11 years. Yet, brokers are prohibited from making representations as to the future price of a stock. SO WHAT'S THE $10 STORY, GURU FRANK!!!!! Paid stock touts, of course, often make such representations, but then they run the risk of acting, and being caught, as an unregistered investment advisor... One other observation as the too-typical short-selling boogey-man appears in the minds of posters. Even on the VSE people do not short un-marginable $0.75 stocks -- unless, that is, they are greater fools than some take them to be. Along with Canadian Zeolite and Megastar Ventures, take a look at ASE-listed Coleville Resources for more common links to the CYJ promotion. |
