Parents treat their kids like animals and then wonder why they mouth off to them. Geez, really? Treat them like the adults you hope them to be someday and everything changes. In my world, a nephew or niece who goes biking with me knows they'll go home with an injury or two and stories to tell. I disagree on one thing. Turn off the TV. Life it too short.
