TLRD.

Article on who wears or doesn't wear suits anymore. Suits demand seems to be going the way of the buggy whip.

Message 32354625

Service people: TLRD division loses Am Airlines business . At least a couple of airlines have switched to Lands End. Airline attendants have or had been complaining about TLRD's Twin Hill uniforms (toxic?) odors.
In mid-2017, American (NASDAQ: AAL) decided not to renew its uniform contract with Twin Hill after thousands of flight attendants and other employees experienced symptomatic reactions that were believed to be tied to the Twin Hill outfits first introduced in September 2016. Twin Hill has repeatedly insisted its uniforms are safe to wear.

Maybe having NFL team logos as a liner as an option in their suits will help business. Might take some suit business away from other retailers. Maybe not. Who makes suit purchase? Wives dragging their husbands to the suit store?

Bruwin says this stock by the balance sheet is not working or does not look good. I look at the business and wonder if the business can even stumble along, given that apparently or seemingly, no guy in the USA has to wear a suit anymore unless he absolutely has to. Ah well, TLRD's a cigarbutt investment maybe, and Mike Burry likes the stock for a turnaround, so there's that to be said for it. Too tough for me: I continue to pass.
