| I hate what's going on these days around the world, never being too political I support good ideas that make sense for everyone not political parties, I'm a bit of a strange bird, I detest Trudeau and and I really detest Trump, Trudeau mostly only affects Canada where as Trump affects the world. Being in the oil and gas industry all my working career and living on the west coast I support the new pipeline, we have the highest gas prices in North America maybe a new pipeline would help to lower the price of gas here, I also support allowing Alberta getting their oil to foreign markets. B.C. is shipping American coal through Westshore Terminals at Roberts Bank and sending Canadian LNG to China, its hypocritical to not to let Alberta do the same. Where do I stand right now politically? right on the fence, when I didn't know anything I voted NDP, in recent years I have voted Liberal in BC and Conservative Federally. I have a lot of liberal views but hate that they waste billions of tax payers money, Climate change, I can see with my own eyes its getting warmer all the time, I learned to skate on frozen ponds and lakes in the Lower mainland, when is the last time the winter has been cold long enough to allow people to do that now, we used to get almost a good month of cold weather when I was a kid. The world can't turn off using fossil fuels over night, our society would collapse, too many damn people on this planet isn't helping. what's the answer? who knows, I think a carbon tax is just another tax grab. |
